Long ago, there lived a moon goddess who was known for her beauty and grace. She was the ruler of the night sky and controlled the movements of the sun and moon.One day, a mortal man drew attention of the moon goddess. He was a warrior who devoted his life to protecting the forest from anyone who would harm it. The moon goddess was captivated by his bravery and love for nature, so she would often visit him in his dreams.As time passed, the moon goddess and him fell deeply in love. But their happiness was short, as a group of hunters invaded the forest. He and other villagers fought bravely to protect the forest, but they were outnumbered, and he was wounded. Not even the moon goddessβs powers could heal his wound. She was devastated by his death, and she cried days and nights, and her tears fell to the forest below, soaking the earth. From the spot where her first tear landed, a beautiful flower grew - the brugmansia flower, which blooms only during the night.During a full moon, the flower bloomed, and a little moon bunny was born from it. The moon goddess named her Amara. She would visit Amara in her dreams, teaching little bunny the secrets of moon magic and entrusting her with the task of protecting the forest as he did.Amara learned quickly, mastering her powers and keeping the forest safe from harm. She would make a magical barrier to protect the forest, cast spells to ward off intruders, grow enough food for creatures and take care of trees and plants. And like that she became known as the moon guardian of the forest.And so the legend of the moon goddess passed down from generation to generation, people still believe in it and tell stories about Amara - a moon guardian, who protects the forest to this day.
